I'm a proven chief of staff, and I bring a crew that starts working the first week.

You're great at the one hard thing your company exists to do. I take the forty things around it — the ops, the follow-ups, the hiring threads, the investor update you keep not writing, the AI everyone says you should be using — and I quietly make them run.

The problem I'm usually walking into

It's not that you can't do those forty things. It's that every hour you spend on them is an hour stolen from the thing only you can do. So they pile up, and the pile becomes the weather you live in.

That's the hole I fill. I carry the unglamorous weight so you get your head back.

What I bring that most people can't

I've spent the last few years living inside agentic AI, not just reading about it. I build with it every day, running my own one-man shop on a crew of AI agents. So when I show up, I don't just bring a sharp head. I bring the crew too.

Think of it as growing a set of octopus arms: your reach and your output multiply, but there's still just one head you have to trust.

I'm not going to hand you a deck about where AI could help someday. I'll show you the machines I already run, and we'll work out what yours would be — built around exactly what your company needs, and run for you.

How I work

The part I take most seriously

The hardest thing to hire for isn't hands. It's someone who'll tell you the truth. When you're about to walk into a wall, I'll say so — early, plainly, and without drama. I've done this next to founders and CEOs before, and the people who managed me say the same thing. I'm not here to agree with you. I'm here to help you be right.

And I've been on your side of it. I've started companies and sold them, run departments, and been the one whose call it was — so when I say something's about to break, it isn't a read from the outside. It's from someone who's been there before, and can help you see it coming.

What people who worked with me say

"He carries the unglamorous weight of company administration that lands on a startup CEO without complaint… He's comfortable making real decisions when a situation branches into five viable paths and fifteen more behind them. He'll pick a direction, name what we're deferring, and own the call… I trust him, full-depth."

Peter Kaminski

"Nate's moral compass is uncompromising and if he thought you were wrong, he was never afraid to call BS. It's a great quality to have and one I wish more people exhibited."

Ethan Austin

"Efficient and organized, while being a big-picture, forward-thinking visionary at the same time… a creative talent streamlined in a methodical and repeatable package."

Mandy Schneiker

"One of the most action-oriented people I've ever met… incredibly reliable and calm under pressure, delivering quality work time and time again."

Jessica Hatcher-Scantlin

A little of where I've been

I've been building things online for thirty years and selling the good ones. I ran communications at GiveForward while we raced GoFundMe to be the biggest crowdfunding platform in the country — they ended up buying us.

I spent two years as a senior product manager at The Motley Fool, took Groupon on as my own consulting client, did brand and digital work for Harley-Davidson and NBC through a Milwaukee agency and a Los Angeles one, and once advised early Google on internal community programs. I built AI story tools that got acquired by a Hollywood production company, and a contextual-AI platform that was profitable from its first day.

Different fields, same move every time: take a pile of pieces nobody's connecting, and make them into something that works.

If this sounds like the thing you've been missing

I take on one founder at a time, so mostly it comes down to fit — whether you'd actually want me in the room with you every week. Easiest way to find out is a call. We can talk about exactly what you need, I can show you how I run my own machine-filled environment (and what I could build into yours), and we'll both know pretty quickly.
